Our Company

Rooted in Relationships. Driven by Quality.

Cutting Edge was built on a simple idea: provide dependable commercial landscape services and build long-term client relationships through consistency, responsiveness, and accountability. What began as a commitment to better serve clients has grown into a trusted commercial landscape, irrigation, snow management, and exterior services partner supporting properties throughout Idaho, Utah, and the Intermountain West.

For more than 25 years, our teams have supported office campuses, multifamily communities, industrial properties, healthcare facilities, retail centers, HOAs, and institutional environments with landscape maintenance, irrigation management, snow and ice response, exterior services, and property enhancement solutions tailored to each site’s operational needs.

Commercial properties throughout Idaho and Utah face changing seasonal conditions, irrigation demands, snow response challenges, and evolving operational expectations that require proactive planning and coordinated exterior service support.

At Cutting Edge, we believe strong partnerships are built through responsive communication, proactive support, and follow-through in the field. Our goal is not simply to complete tasks, but to help simplify property management through proactive communication, coordinated service planning, and dependable field execution.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide proactive landscape and exterior service solutions that support long-term property performance, strengthen client relationships, and create environments people take pride in.

We are committed to delivering dependable service through responsive communication, experienced field leadership, and a culture rooted in professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement. By investing in our people and maintaining a service-first mindset, we help clients navigate changing seasonal demands while maintaining safe, functional, and professionally maintained properties.

Our Team

The strength of Cutting Edge comes from the people behind the work. From account managers and field leaders to irrigation technicians, snow crews, and support staff, every team member plays a role in delivering consistent service, responsive communication, and dependable property support across commercial environments throughout Idaho and Utah.

Our culture is built around collaboration, accountability, and pride in workmanship. We believe investing in our employees creates stronger teams, better communication, and a better experience for the clients we serve.

Our History

In 2015, two established landscape organizations with complementary expertise in commercial maintenance, irrigation, and exterior services joined together to form Cutting Edge Landscape, bringing complementary expertise, shared values, and a common vision for client service under one organization. By combining operational strengths and focusing on long-term growth, the company quickly expanded its capabilities while maintaining a strong commitment to relationships and service quality.

In 2021, Cutting Edge joined HeartLand, a national family of landscape companies focused on operational excellence, local leadership, and long-term client partnerships. Through HeartLand, Cutting Edge gained access to expanded resources, industry best practices, and additional support systems while continuing to operate with the same regional expertise, responsive service, and local leadership clients have come to rely on.

Today, Cutting Edge supports commercial properties throughout Idaho and Utah with coordinated landscape maintenance, irrigation management, snow and ice response, exterior maintenance, and long-term property support services. While the company has grown over the years, its focus remains the same: delivering dependable support, building long-term partnerships, and helping clients maintain properties that reflect the quality of the organizations behind them.

Recycling & Resource Management

Cutting Edge is committed to responsible recycling, material management, and sustainable operational practices across our service operations. Organic landscape debris including grass clippings, leaves, branches, and removed sod is repurposed through local recycling and composting programs whenever possible.

Materials such as gravel and concrete are also redirected for reuse through regional partners, helping reduce unnecessary landfill waste while supporting more sustainable landscape construction and maintenance practices throughout Idaho and Utah.

Associations and Affiliations

Cutting Edge actively participates in professional landscape, property management, and business organizations that support continuing education, safety training, irrigation efficiency, landscape technology advancement, and operational best practices throughout the commercial landscape industry.

Through ongoing training, certification programs, and industry involvement, our teams stay informed on evolving landscape technologies, irrigation practices, safety standards, and sustainable maintenance strategies. These partnerships help us continue delivering thoughtful, effective service solutions across Idaho and Utah.
